WM Bitcoin Meetup: Easthampton
Meetup #45 may take a closer look at the Lightning Network — how it works, how to use it safely, and where it's heading. Topics could include mobile Lightning wallet demos, the basics of channel management, and how Lightning is enabling fast, low-cost Bitcoin payments in the real world. No prior Lightning experience needed — this one is accessible for everyone.
As always, the first 30 minutes are for catching up before we kick off the discussion. Pizza will be brought in and available for 6,000 sats per plate, and drinks will be available at the bar.
About Us
The Western Mass Bitcoin Meetup is on a mission to find and connect bitcoiners in the area and has been growing quickly. We are interested in spreading education, increasing local merchant adoption and hanging out with bitcoiners. We meet once a month and all are welcome to come and talk bitcoin.
If you are new, we have members who can help you level up your knowledge related to self-custody, lightning, mining and many other areas.
